I'm off to see the wizard

Sukhothai - hotha = Suki

Well today was another great day! I slept alright last night except for waking up and being cold a few times but when I got up this morning my cold wasn't as bad. The shower was soooo cold it was like ice water and it literally took my break away, literally. I headed over to the guest house where Matt and Angie were staying b/c we were supposed to meet for breakfast at 8:30, neither of them were there so I sat down and got some breakfast. They both showed up eventually and we caught the public bus over to old Sukhothai and rented bikes to explore the ruins. First we stopped at the museum which had tonnes of artifacts and lots of information, I also spent some time following a tour group listening to the guide and learnt so new interesting things about Buddhism. After that we jumped back on our bikes and heading to Wat Mahathat which was the nicest one I've seen so far and we spent a while walking around amongst the ruins and the many large Buddha statues. After that we rode over to a little restaurant and hid in the shade from 12-1 and had some lunch. After lunch we biked around the rest of the wats stopping at most of them and then just headed back to the first one where we sat around for a while in the shade. They were trading traveling stories and I was listening in awe. They are 30 and 39 so they have seen a lot more of the world then me and it was great because I learnt a lot. After that we took the bikes back and got on the bus back to the new city. On the bus we met another lone traveler and so the four of us are going to meet up for dinner later on. Tomorrow I'm going to head back on the road although I haven't decided where I'm heading I think I'll go to Phitsanulok and maybe spend a day there.
